The library offers the Servei de Suport a la Investigació or SAI (Research Support Service), dedicated to advising the professors and researchers in:

  • accreditation and evaluation processes
  • standardisation of authorship and database profiles
  • journals to publish in
  • predatory journals
  • copyright
  • open access and scientific publishing...

As part of its advisory work, the SAI of the library has designed some own tools for evaluating research activity in the Health area:

On publicar

On no publicar

Revistes Diamant

Calcular

  • ON PUBLICAR: journal analysis tool with useful data to help the researcher in the process of selecting a journal (impact factor and quartile of the updated JCR, position of the journal in other categories, fees to pay for open publication...) en abierto...).

  • ON NO PUBLICAR: interactive tool for the analysis of editorial fraud in Health. Presents a compilation of journals with documented dubious or outright fraudulent editorial practices, such as so-called “predatory” journals and “hijacked” journals.
For further information about this tool, please consult:

  • Diamond Journals. Quality Indicators: this tool provides access to a dataset of open access academic journals classified as Diamond journals. These journals are characterised by the fact that they do not charge fees to authors or readers, and offer authors licences that allow open deposit.

  • Calculadora: tool to obtain the decile, tercile, quartile and quintile that a journal occupies in JCR.

The research production of the university is collected through the Portal de Producció Científica UV. This portal gives visibility and transparency to the research activity through the results and the analysis of its impact.
