On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Historical Library has organized the micro-exhibition Invisible ink, on Valencian women printers, with two main objectives: on the one hand, to give value and visibility to the role they have played in the development of the Valencian printing press and, on the other, Disseminate the bibliographic heritage that is conserved in the Historical Library of the University of Valencia. In the sample you can see a selection of some of these works that were produced in the Valencian printers from the 16th to the 19th century.
This exhibition can be visited every Sunday, from March 7th to April 11th, in the Duc de Calabria room, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It´s free of charge and the room has the appropriate hygienic-sanitary measures to ensure safety.
