The Institució de les Lletres Catalanes and the Xarxa Vives d'Universitats present the first inter-university reading club of the programme 'Lletres Compartides a la Uni'. Lletres Compartides is a programme that arose from the need to bring writers from all over the Catalan linguistic area closer to readers who have not yet read them and to put them in contact with the literary creation and promotion sector in other territories. The Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua, the Fundació Mallorca Literària and the Consell Insular de Menorca are the four entities that promote it, with the intention that in the near future other organisations in the linguistic sphere may join in.
Lletres Compartides a la Uni is a specific action that aims to bring authors from the various Catalan-speaking territories closer to the entire university community. In this first edition, 4 telepresence presentations are planned, between 19 October and 30 November. In the first one, on 19 October, Napalm al cor (Anagrama editorial), by Pol Guasch (Tarragona, 1997), will be discussed. This will be followed on 2nd November by Còrpora (Adia Ediciones), by Clara Fiol (Palma, 1995). On 16th November, it will be the turn of No hi havia a València... (Sembra Llibres), by Mercè Climent (Alcoy, 1981). The last session, on 30 November, will be about Granit (Campesino editores), by Carles Minuchin (Menorca, 1986).
The presentations will take place via Zoom, between 18:00 and 19:00, with Juliana Canet as moderator and a space for participation and debate for those attending.
Registration is free, open to all members of the university community (students, PAS, PDI) and must be formalised before 17 October using this form. The first 20 people to register will receive a free set of the 4 readings that will be presented at the sessions.
