Clarivate published the new edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) yesterday, June 18, introducing significant changes to the calculation of the Journal Impact Factor, which now excludes citations to retracted articles for the first time, increasing the credibility of the reports.

The total number of journals included in the new JCR has increased to 22,249, and they can be explored through the Master Journal List. In addition, 618 journals have received an impact factor for the first time, and the full list of titles is available for download from this official source

However, there are still some journals that do not yet have an impact factor, as they lack the necessary content for its calculation, although this may change with the next update scheduled for August 1. The list can be found here.
