The delivery, which took place in the Rectorate building, was also attended by the director of the Library and Documentation Service, Cristina Tomás Martínez, Concepción González Nieves, Secretary of the SBD Quality Committee and Carmen Lozano Aguilar, SBD Quality Technician.
Since the academic year 2012/2013 the Library and Documentation Service collects through satisfaction surveys the opinion of the university community about the management of this.
This year the participation has been 7,357 students, 816 professors and 160 PTGAS of the SBD.
On a scale of 1 to 5, students have rated the University of Valencia libraries at 4.40, the PDI at 4.54 and the staff of the Service at 4.13.
Each year the SBD Self-Evaluation Committee analyzes and studies the results of the surveys and proposes specific improvements for each library and general improvements for the whole Service.
