New virtual exhibition organized by the Humanities Library, which supports a series of lectures organized by Professor Luz Souto, from the Departament de Filologia Espanyola de la Universitat de València..
The exhibition revolves around the book published by Fernando Reat and Paula Simón, "Filosofía de la incomunicación. Clandestine letters from Penitentiary Unit 1 (Córdoba, 1976-1979)". Fernando was a political prisoner in the 70's in Argentina, in the prison where he was incommunicado was absolute, all outside contact was forbidden.
The book by Fernando Reati and Paula Simón, on which this exhibition is based, shows how between 1976 and 1979, hundreds of political prisoners in Cordoba prison were subjected to a regime of complete isolation and inactivity, but managed with ingenuity to keep communication alive beyond the walls.
In the exhibition you can see a series of interviews, talks about their situation, the procedure to escape from this isolation, etc.
