The Universitat de Valencia Historical Archive has received from the Ministry of Culture and within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), the Grants announced for the year 2022 and 2023 for the description and digitization of archives with documentary heritage older than forty years of entities, associations of a political, trade union or religious nature, public universities and entities, foundations, cultural and educational associations.

The two proposals presented by the University Archives for these grants have allowed the digitization of documents from the Escuela Normal de Maestros de Valencia, established in 1845, and the Escuela Normal de Maestras de Valencia, established in 1866, and other documents related to the teaching schools of the former University District of Valencia, made up of educational centers located in the provinces of Alicante, Castellón, Valencia, Albacete and Murcia.

These documents, their description and digital images have been included in the web application provided by the General Subdirectorate of the State Archives, and can be consulted on the PARES platform of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
