On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the “Eduard Boscà” Science Library hosted an institutional meeting between the University of Gdańsk (Poland) and the University of Valencia. The event took place at the library’s premises, located on the Burjassot Campus.
Dr. Katarzyna Świerk, Head of the Science Office at the University of Gdańsk and Coordinator of the CoARA project, met with Beatriz Climent, Head of Research Assessment Support; Alberto Sánchez, Manager of the RODERIC repository; Ana Mira, Director of the Science Library; and Joel González, Rector’s Delegate for Strategic Research Initiatives.
The day began at 10:00 a.m. with an institutional welcome and a guided tour of the library. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., several presentations and a fruitful discussion took place, covering key topics such as open science, the Human Resources Excellence in Research Award, the CoARA principles, research assessment systems at both universities, the CoARA Boost project, and opportunities for international collaboration.
The meeting concluded with a tour of the Burjassot Campus, providing an opportunity to showcase the facilities and strengthen institutional ties between the two universities.
