Punt SI

The Punt SI is a point of personalized attention and training for users of the research support service of the Social Sciences Library "Gregori Maians". Since its launch in January 2023, more than 100 researchers have already made use of it, with excellent results in satisfaction surveys.

Located in the library hall, it facilitates access to the service while providing visibility to the work done by library staff.

In its Punt SI we offer personalized attention sessions, as well as thematic training sessions, and both information requests and registrations must be made through the Biblioteca Respon form.

Personalized attention service

• Profile curation service. Keeping profiles up to date makes it easier to apply for funding and is essential in the processes of evaluation, accreditation or obtaining places. Contact us if you need individualized attention to unify your production and review profiles and identifiers.
• Rankings and visibility. We review the rankings to study the presence of research personnel in the areas of Economics, Law and Social Sciences. If you are a PI and want to improve the visibility of your group, contact us.
• Publish. Request an appointment to choose the appropriate publication medium for your work and to know the impact of the journal in the main databases and discounts on APC payment.

Training service for researchers

• Scheduled workshops. We organize regular workshops for senior and junior research staff and PhD students in tailored sessions, with groups of 3 to 5 researchers/se attended by the research support librarian. Come to our express workshop and solve problems easily in as little as 60 minutes.
• Training on demand. If you need a session on a topic not included in our program, please ask us for information.
