The University of Valencia Library has signed a new transformative licence with BMJ Publishing Group for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2026.

The agreement includes online access to the BMJ Standard Collection. During the subscription period, current issues and the historical archive of the included journals will be available for consultation (access to back issues will only be possible while the subscription is valid).

In addition, this licence allows authors from the University of Valencia to publish eligible articles accepted in the BMJ group's hybrid journals included in the agreement in open access, at no additional cost for APC (Article Processing Charges).

Articles published in open access will be disseminated under Creative Commons licences, promoting maximum visibility, reuse and compliance with the requirements of the main funding bodies.
