TUAT

Last Friday, the Eduard Boscà Sciences Library welcomed three researchers from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT): Madoka Nakai, Yuumi Atobe, and Kousuke Hara, specialists in genetics. During their visit, they met at the library with Beatriz Climent, head of the research area, and Albert Sánchez, repository coordinator, who introduced them to the UV’s work in Open Science, repository management, publishing agreements, and diamond open access journals.

Throughout the day, the researchers had the opportunity to learn about On Publicar, a tool that facilitates the editing and dissemination of open-access scientific journals, as well as the agreements the University maintains with different publishers to promote open-access publishing.

This visit served as a platform for knowledge exchange and the exploration of future synergies in the field of Open Science, reinforcing UV’s commitment to the dissemination of knowledge without barriers.
