Teaching guides constitute an essential source of information for the planning and management of bibliographic resources at the Universitat de València. The bibliography included in them serves as the basis for the preparation of recommended reading lists by course and degree, searches in Trobes associated with subjects and teaching staff, as well as for the planning and acquisition of new documentary resources.

The quality and regular updating of this information help to align bibliographic collections with teaching needs and make it easier for students to access the recommended materials for following their courses.

Coinciding with the period for the preparation and review of teaching guides for the upcoming academic year, it is particularly important to ensure that the bibliography included reflects the resources considered as key references for each subject.
