The University of Valencia obtains the aid granted by the María de Guzmán Call for the Promotion of Scientific Research of Excellence of the FECYT, aimed at public and private universities, public research organizations and public or private institutions that manage and provide scientific resources.
The purpose of this call is to promote scientific research of excellence, in accordance with the objectives of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, by promoting access to databases of multidisciplinary bibliographic references with citations and own impact that allow optimal management and measurement of research results.
The UV will allocate this aid to the Web of Science (WoS) databases, which are a fundamental tool for academic and scientific research.
The WoS is an online platform that collects and organizes a large amount of scientific information from various disciplines. It plays a fundamental role in scientific research by providing access to scholarly literature, facilitating literature review, tracking citations and metrics, fostering collaboration among researchers, and supporting informed decision-making in research.
It should be noted that this is the fourth call in which UV has received this grant, the previous ones were in 2018, 2019, 2020-21 and 2022.
On the other hand, the final score of the project presented has been 96.44 out of 100, and regarding the section of the technical scientific impact of the entity has obtained a total of 20 points out of 20.
