This weekend marks the start of extended opening hours in several libraries of the Universitat de València, with the aim of offering students more study time during the January exam period. The libraries of Sciences, Social Sciences (floor -1), Health Sciences, Psychology and Sports, and Education will join the Humanities Library and will open on Saturdays and Sundays to support exam preparation.
These weekend extended hours will remain in place throughout December. The Ontinyent Campus Library will open from December 14.
In addition, on December 26 the UV will implement 24-hour opening and evening schedules on weekdays, ensuring that the university community has sufficient study and consultation spaces.
To check the detailed schedules of each library, you can access the updated calendars from the home page of the Servei de Biblioteques i Documentació (biblioteca.uv.es).
During exam periods and other times of extended opening, the libraries prioritize the use of spaces by students, academic staff, and administrative and service staff, as well as certain external users linked to the UV through collaboration agreements.
