Next Tuesday, October 14, the Paraula Viva project will feature well-known comedian Xavi Castillo, who was directly affected by the DANA storm on October 29, 2024. The water swept through the workshop of his company Pot de Plomb in Picanya, destroying sets, costumes, and stage materials.
With his irreverent and critical style, Castillo has turned that experience into a creative force. In the series “Las crónicas del Ventorro” and in his recent shows such as “Lo Ventorro,” he reflects with humor and satire on fragility, disaster management, and the power of culture to resist.
In this Paraula Viva session, he will share how he experienced that episode and how art can transform pain into memory and collective consciousness.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hall of the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library.
