'Economic Policy Uncertainty and Systematic Risk'

The seminar will address the implications of systematic risk on economic policy. In this sense, the problem of uncertainty in the economy and its relationship with economic policy will be partly revisited.

Speaker: Pilar Grau Carles. Full University Professor of Applied Economics at the Complutense University of Madrid in the Department of Applied, Public and Political Economics. Her research interests cover both computational finance and the study of networks. In the area of finance, she has explored the properties of financial time series. In network science she has focused on the analysis of social, financial and data networks. Her research has been published in academic journals such as Computational Finance, Journal of Business Research, Applied Economics or International Review of Economics & Finance.
