New Catalan intermediate level reading club at the Blasco Ibáñez Languages Learning Centre.

A new Catalan reading club is about to start at the Blasco Ibáñez Languages Learning Centre. This new reading club is addressed to the whole university community, more specifically to readers who are learning Catalan or who already have an intermediate level and want to share conversations about books and literature. Attendance is for free.

Registration is required at cal.blasco@uv.es or at the Languages Learning Centre. Meetings will be held monthly (dates to be announced in advance) from 10.00 to 11.30 am at the Languages Learning Centre (Gascó Oliag 5, ground floor). The first session will take place on Friday 23 February and we will comment on No hi havia a València, by Mercè Climent (Ed. Sembra). The author will come to the first reading club session. You can pick up a copy of the book from Tuesday 6 February at the Languages Learning Centre.

The Blasco Ibáñez Languages Learning Centre will be closed for normal use (advice, self-study, loan of material, etc.) for the duration of the reading club meetings.

The second session will be Friday, March 22, the third on April 26, and a fourth on May 31, all from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
