The Universitat de València's Russian Centre, which opened in April 2019 in the building housing the research institutes in Serpis street, has just launched its web portal, developed by the Web and Marketing Unit, from which it will disseminate all the centre's activity, especially the calls for courses and research projects.
The Russian Centre, an initiative of the University and the 'Russkiy Mir' Foundation, is the second to be launched at a Spanish university after that of Granada. The centre aims to be a driving force in relations between Spain and Russia, while at the same time promoting Slavic studies with a wide range of training programmes that will include courses at all levels, double degrees and mobility programmes. It also has a complete library, computer resources and numerous networks for research.
The Russian Centre will also disseminate and popularise Russian language, literature and arts with a wide range of programmes for learning Russian culture. It will also serve as a link between Russian and Valencian society to increase mutual relations and knowledge.
The new web portal will be a decisive tool in the objective of popularising the wealth of Russian language and culture in Valencia and offering actions in the academic, cultural and scientific fields.
