The UVCultura website, one with the most content and complexity of the Universitat de València, has been redesigned according to the corporative model which is already applied to the majority of the UV websites. However, it has added some remarkable singularities regarding the rest of the websites, especially in the graphic section, a slight transgression in the culture formulated to give a distinctive feature to the immense cultural activity of the UV. The new portal web is already accessible since the last half of December.

The adaptation to the new design of the UVCultura website has been one of the main challenges of the Website and Marketing Unit in the redesign of the websites process due to the amount of content, the diversity of sections, the rhythm of actualizations, the record of publications, and the staff designated.
It is important to know that from the UVCultura website the user can elaborate on the cultural program which is developed in multiple spaces, and also in multiple references to the architectural patrimony of the University, the historic and artistic patrimony (Art Collections, engravings, posters, numismatics and archaeology, cameos, a collection of historic photography, and a collection of paintings by Martínez Guerricabeitia), the historic data of activities, catalogues, publications, the descriptions of cultural centres, stages and spaces, guided tours schedules,  and everything multiplied by the different artistic manifestations such as theatre and performing arts, music, cinema, literature, debates, conferences and lectures.
It is also possible the access to the collections of the Natural History Museum (UV) such as the Historic-medical collection (López Piñero Institute), Botany collections and the Etymological collection (Cavanilles Institute).
Besides the great amount of content, it must be added the publication seekers and other kind of services that have caused a great difficulty to the application of the new design that the Website and Marketing Unit is extending to the whole websites of the UV.
The redesign of these websites takes part of the renovation process which is still in progress in the set of the UV websites. This redesign results in a unified and more visual appealing and accessible interface where the graphic elements highlight inviting to diving into an endless amount of content.
