Marta Broch holds a degree in German Philology from the University of Valencia, where she also obtained the Pedagogical Aptitude Course and completed the Postgraduate in German Translation. Likewise, at the Universität Mainz (Germany), she completed the postgraduate course "Translation/Introduction to Interpretation."
Also interested in the teaching of Spanish, she carried out the course "Training of Spanish Teachers (Level B)" at the Instituto Cervantes and has worked as an assistant in teaching Spanish at the secondary education level in Germany.
She began her teaching career as a German teacher in several Official Language Schools. She has also taught German at the Language Center of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and in several private language centers, including managing her own center with specialized German courses for work purposes.
She was an associate professor at the Faculty of Philology and Translation of the University of Valencia, teaching courses in the German language (general and for specific purposes), translation and literature.

She is interested in teaching German for specific purposes and interculturality in language learning. She has developed workshops and presentations to address interculturality in the classroom.

EXPERIENCE

Teacher of English as a Foreign Language at the 'Centre d´idiomes de la Universitat de Valencia´ since 2009 (all levels from A1 to C2, including Business English courses, Cambridge preparation for First Certificate in English, Certificate of Advanced English and Proficiency).

Having graduated in Humanities: English literature/Musicology, at Hope University Liverpool in 1988 and working some years in public administration in Bristol I took the Cambridge TEFLA qualification and went to Madrid in 1992. Here I started teaching English as a foreign language at a private language school and then at the British Institute.

In 1998 I went to Germany where I mainly worked freelance in industry in the East of the country, returning to Spain in 2002, this time to Valencia where I was head of studies at a private language school. After two years I started working for CCOO doing Formación Profesional with (then) SERVEF (LABORA), then joining the Centre d’Idiomes de la Univesitat de València in 2012.

I have a Bachelor de Arts degree with a double major in History and Política Science from Simon Fraser University in 1991. The degree is recognized by the Council of Spanish Universities. Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitud from the University of Valencia in 1998.

I have been an English teacher at the Centre de Idiomes de la Universidad de Valencia since 2006. Thoughout these years I have given English classes at all levels, including legal and business English as well as TOEFL and Cambridge exam preparation courses. 

I graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in Spanish and French in 2009 and an MA in Translation Studies (Spanish and French) in 2012. I completed a Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Valencia in 2009. 

I have been a teacher at the Language Centre of the University of Valencia since 2009 and have taught general English classes to all levels as well as specific exam preparation courses. 

I am also a member of the PACLE exam preparation team and prepare material and tasks for the exams. 

Since 2021, I have been working as a translator and proofreader.  

I am an English and Italian teacher at the Language Center of the University of Valencia. 

I graduated from the University of Trieste (Italy) in English and Spanish Studies in 2022, and I later completed a Master's in Advanced English Studies (2024, University of Salamanca) and another Master's in Secondary Education Teaching (University of Valencia, 2025). 

I have experience working with children, teenagers and adults at all levels, with a particular interest in exam preparation courses (Cambridge and PACLE).

Graduate in English Studies from the University of Valencia. She has the Teaching Training  Course. She held the post of Spanish language teacher's assistant at Harrogate Grammar School for two years. She has the Teacher Development course from the University of Edinburgh. She has been a full professor of English at the Center d'Idiomes de la UV since 2011.

Miroslav Kotsev holds a degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Sofia St. Clement of Orid (2013), Sofia, Bulgaria with a specialization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and obtaining pedagogical aptitude certificate and professional qualification of teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. He also holds a Master's degree in Advanced Hispanic Studies: applications and research, applied academic itinerary of literature (2014) and Master's degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education (2018): specialization in teaching English as a foreign language from the University of Valencia.

Specialised in language teaching, with extensive experience in the private sector as an English teacher in language schools, teaching the subject of English in professional training courses of healthcare education at the Instituto Superior de Formación Profesional Biosanitaria Claudio Galeno and as a part-time lecturer (since 2020) at the Department of Applied Linguistics at the Polytechnic University of Valencia teaching official syllabus subjects of English for specific purposes and technical English. He has also worked as an English teacher at the Language Centre of the UPV. He currently works as a teacher of English and Spanish at the Language Centre of the University of Valencia and as a part-time lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. 

As a teacher of English as a foreign language, he has extensive experience teaching classes at all levels of CEFR, preparation for official exams of Cambridge ESOL, Trinity, EOI, Certacles (PACLE), English for specific purposes, technical English. As a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language he has taught from A1 to C1 CEFR levels, intensive courses for incoming Erasmus students at the UPV, Spanish literature classes.
