Cycling to the University: Cycling Tour of the Three University Campuses
Dates: Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (to choose)
Meeting point: Sports Service of the Tarongers Campus. Each person brings their own bicycle, leaves it inside the Sports Service, where it will be supervised, and attends the theoretical session (1h) in which topics will be briefly discussed: How to choose the most suitable bicycle? Benefits of the use of bicycles for health and the environment, basic guidelines for safe circulation in the city, etc.
We will have three hours to make the journey to the Burjassot Campus, have lunch or snack as the case may be, and return to Tarongers passing through the Blasco Ibáñez Campus. It's about 20 km. All flat and 95% by bike lanes.
Objectives:
• To ensure that UV staff and students interested in bicycles acquire fundamental information for their use.
• Be able to select the most suitable bicycle for the use to be given.
• Use the bicycle to go from home to the university and as an element of leisure and health.
• Learn some basic rules for safe cycling.
Free registration: from 15 April: Places limited to 30 people for each outing, and only for members of the university community of the Universitat de València.

Collaborators: Servei d'Esports and Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences UV.
