From 7 to 14 July the 40 Universitat d’Estiu de Gandia will be held, which, as usual, in its programme includes several activities available to citizens where music and theatre are the focus.

This year the afternoon programme at 40#UEG is the following:

Monday 10: Conversation "¿Hay que hablar de la calidad de nuestra democracia?: pues hablemos" (Do we have to talk about our democracy quality?: Let’s talk then).

Tuesday 11: Conference: “El presente que vivimos y el futuro que nos espera en el Mediterráneo”. (The present we live and the future that awaits in the Mediterranean).

Pilar Bonet Cardona is a journalist from Ibiza, who has spent the majority of her professional career as correspondent of the El País journal in Moscú

Thursday 13: Roundtable: “El suicidio, síntoma del malestar social” (Suicide, symptom of social unrest)

Participate: Belén Hernández Zoido, clinical psychologist, and Jose Cervera, psychiatrist in the Hospital de Gandia. Moderates: Javier Velasco

Friday 14: Conference: “Información y tabú” (Information and taboo)
