The Humanities Library inaugurates the virtual exhibition: “Allende las fronteras: escritoras y viajeras”
The “Joan Reglà” Humanities Library inaugurates the virtual exhibition “Allende las fronteras: escritoras y viajeras”, a project that highlights the role of women in travel literature and challenges their traditional exclusion from the literary canon.
Coordinated by professor Rita Rodríguez Varela, the exhibition is the result of a collaboration with students from La Nau Gran, the Degree in Modern Languages and its literatures, and the PhD in Hispanic Studies. It recovers the voices of women who turned travel into a form of knowledge, self-expression, and personal affirmation.
