RODERIC

The institutional repository of the University of Valencia, RODERIC, has implemented a series of enhancements aimed at offering a more user-friendly, accessible, and efficient experience for both the research community and anyone interested in the university’s academic and scientific output.

Improvements to the user experience

• New graphic design, more modern and intuitive.

• Integrated document viewer, allowing users to access files directly from the browser.

• Accessibility plugin, ensuring inclusive navigation adaptable to different needs.

• Autocomplete search function, making it easier and faster to find content.

Advanced information management

• New search options: thematic filters have been added, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and access conditions for content, along with an advanced search to refine results.

• Citation export available in Google Scholar, PlumX, and Scopus, to increase visibility and impact of published works.

• Possibility to view other documents by the same authors directly via Google Scholar.

Interoperability and sharing

• Repository items can now be easily exported to reference managers such as RefWorks, EndNote, Zotero, and Mendeley.

• Users can share documents via Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), WhatsApp, or email.

With these improvements, RODERIC continues to advance in its mission to disseminate the knowledge generated at the University of Valencia, promoting open access, scientific visibility, and the reuse of information.
