The "On no publicar" predatory journal tool has been updated. This new update now identifies 1,119 journals, 37 of which are newly added.
Some changes in this new revision:
- A new source has been included for the base list, the "New List of Predatory Journals-2023" blacklist.
- Some sources (ICMJE, JournalGuide, JournalTOCs) that were used for quality assurance have been removed, either because they have ceased publication, become subscription-based, or are no longer considered relevant.
Instructions for use are available from the tool itself:
You can also consult the guide on publishing fraud, prepared by the Library and Documentation Service, for more information on this type of journal.
