The "Joan Reglà" Humanities Library receives a specialized collection from the Read Japan Project
The University of Valencia, through its Library and Documentation Service, has received a significant donation from the Read Japan Project: a collection of 182 books in English on Japanese history, culture, politics, and society, now available at the "Joan Reglà" Humanities Library.
🇯🇵 The Read Japan Project is an international initiative led by the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research, with the support of the Nippon Foundation, aiming to promote knowledge and understanding of Japan at universities around the world.
The presentation event will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at 10:45 a.m., in the Event Room of the Humanities Library, and will be attended by representatives of the Read Japan Project, as well as faculty members and library staff involved in the initiative.
The event will conclude with a performance by Mila Villanueva , who will recite haikus, and Noelia Juan Nogués, who will play a flute piece by a Japanese composer.
A unique opportunity to explore Japanese culture through books, music, and poetry.
