 Read Japan Project

The Joan Reglà Humanities Library has received a collection of books from the Read Japan Project to support Japanese Studies at the University of Valencia and contribute to the education of students and researchers interested in Japan from a variety of disciplines.

This project, managed by the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research and funded by the Nippon Foundation, promotes understanding of Japan through the donation of English-language books to universities and libraries around the world. The Japan Publishing Industry Foundation for Culture (JPIC) collaborated in the shipment of the volumes.

The selection of titles was made by faculty members involved in Japanese Studies at the UV, with the participation of researchers and students.

In addition, the Read Japan Project has made another donation of books to the UV Language Centre, aimed at students of the Japanese language, thus expanding access to specialized resources on Japan at the university.
