The RECIDA project, in which it collaborates with the UN Dipository Library of the University of Valencia, has received the annual award from the IFLA GREEN LIBRARY 2021. (6th IFLA Green Library Award 2021).
RECIDA is a Spanish network of environmental and protected areas documentation centers distributed in its 17 autonomous communities. Some of their network goals are to give access to quality environmental information to disseminate and make more dynamic, provide knowledge and raise awareness among citizens about the conservation of our environment and encourage cooperation in projects concerning sustainable development.
The RECIDA project has been developed since 2002. You can see a presentation of the project here, along with some infographics. This award recognizes the important work done by the network's librarians and documentary makers.
