ANECA has opened a public consultation period to propose amendments to its new draft criteria for the evaluation of research sexennis, to be applied in the call for sexennis 2023.
Taking into account the new legislative corpus (Science Law, LOSU) and the recent adhesions by ANECA to the San Francisco Declaration where Research Assessment (DORA) and the agreements and principles of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (COARA) for the evaluation of research, the new criteria assess aspects of research linked to Open Science:
- Deposit of works to institutional and thematic repositories.
- Assessment of multi-authorship (Team Science) justified with the use of the CRediT tool.
- Diversification of indicators and databases
- Open publication, with special valuation of the publication of diamond journals.
- Valuation of contributions resulting from collaborative science, etc.
In addition, as an outstanding novelty, this draft recommends a field 0 for interdisciplinary research.
