Three highlighted news appear at the main website of the Universitat de València, selected by UVcommunication among all the news that are published daily on the UVnews website.

Uvnews is a website launched in 2018 that is fed by news from all the sections that are part of the Universitat de València. 

The UV has a great ability to produce original, valuable and quality content. While fulfilling its functions of research, scientific and technological development, dissemination of culture and transfer of knowledge, the Universitat de València produces a great amount of information that needs to be communicated to society.

Faculties, departments, services as the press office, institutional chairs, centres like the Botanical Garden, master’s degrees, bodies from the executive council, entities like the Science Park or La Nau... Each and all of these divisions that are part of our Universitat de València produce dozens of daily news published on their individual websites. 

From this large amount of information disseminated through different websites, the need to launch a website that would gather and unify the information and structure the news by thematic sections arose.  

The content creators of the Universitat publish the news on their websites and, in addition, share them in the UVnews website divided in five sections: Institutional, Studies, Research, Culture, Sports and Campus. Therefore, the UVnews website is configured as an information matrix where all news from the academic institution can be found. From all of these news, UVcommunication choses the three most relevant news and highlights them in the main website of the Universitat de València.
