Solidarity concert by the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Young Choir of the Orfeó Català for the Post-Dana Recuperation and Help Programme of the Universitat de València
The Requiem of Mozart is a fascinating and deep piece which explores universal themes such as life, death and redemption. His music, full of emotion and intensity, has captivated people for centuries and it is still an undeniable referent in the classical music world.
Now, in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Universitat de València, the university group and the Young Choir of the Orfeó Català join forces for an activity of young and cultural exchange to play this masterpiece of the German composer: first at the Palau de la Música of València, on 18 May, and then at the Palau de la Música Catalana, on 24 May.
Both concerts, conducted by Hilari Garcia Gázquez, are a huge opportunity to enjoy one of the most emblematic compositions in the history of music.
In addition, the concert of Valencia is organised as part of the Post-Dana Recuperation and Help Programme of the Universitat de València for charity.
