INCLUSION OF EQUALITY IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The HORIZON2020 program transversally places the gender perspective in all programs. Furthermore, gender equality is one of the five key policy priorities of the European Research Area (ERA). This program aims, in addition to parity in the composition of research teams and decision-making, to integrate gender / sex analysis into the content of research and innovation, as well as in monitoring and evaluation.

This shows that managing these aspects represents a competitive advantage for the groups at the University of Valencia / VLC Campus.

Given that the incorporation of gender equality in research is a novelty and in order to meet the objectives set out in the II Equality Plan of the University of Valencia, an introductory day on this subject is organized around two conferences and one active workshop per campus.
