Registration for the 2nd edition of the Aprèn courses is now open until Friday, January 24, 2025 at 14:00.
Aprèn are online courses aimed at developing digital skills for students of the Universitat de València:
AprènCD: basic skills for studying and completing coursework.
AprènTFG: skills needed to prepare for the TFG.
Both courses begin on January 28th.
They can be validated for 1.5 academic credits each, in most graduate programs.You have all the information in the biblioguide.

Access to the full content of Eureka until 6 January
As a result of the severe situation caused by the DANA and in order to face the forthcoming quarterly exams, Editorial Médica Panamericana has offered us free access to its complete collection of e-books on its Eureka (remember to activate the VPN), platform until 6 January.
You can access the contents of the collection through our biblioguide.
This access will allow our students and teachers who cannot access our libraries to continue their learning and training.

Library closure by DANA
The Science Library and the Pharmacy Room will be closed on October 31, 1, 2 and 3 November due to the consequences of the DANA.

Open Science Conference 2024
Next Thursday, 24 October, will take place the Open Science 2024 Conference, within the International Open Access Week, which is always celebrated from 21 to 26 October.
This year, Carlos Hermenegildo, vice-rector of Research at the UV, will present the work of the Open Science Commission, which aims to draft an institutional policy and an action plan.
In addition, the new versions of the repository and the Turia journal portal will be presented, as well as the work of the research support group in the process of identifying and enhancing the value of diamond journals.
The conference will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Science Library ‘Eduard Boscà’, on 24 October at 12:00 pm.
