Opening hours in August and the start of the academic year

Opening hours in August and the start of the academic year.

The library is closed from 3 August to 25 August.

From 1st to 2nd and from 26th to 30th, we are open 8:15 to 14:30.

In September, we return to our usual hours: 8:15 to 21:00, Monday to Friday.

We are closed on Saturdays until October.

We are closed on 13 September for the start of the academic year on 16 September.

A one-hour online session will be held to review best practices for locating news on Factiva. Factiva is a database with more than 30,000 sources of information, from 300 countries and in 32 languages. In this session you will learn how to locate and download relevant information.

The Faculty of Physic and the Library and Documentation Service of the University of Valencia have signed a new agreement with the Institute of Physics (IOP), aimed at offering important benefits to research staff. This agreement, which runs from 2024 to 2026, guarantees a number of key benefits.

Webinar on the Portal of Scientific Production

On June 18, the Dialnet Foundation will give a webinar to explain the utilities of the Scientific Production Portal. The training is specifically designed for UV research staff, so that they can make the most of this tool and raise their doubts or incidents.

Works on the Ground Floor of the Library

We inform you that between the months of May and September, work will be carried out on the transfer of the works to move the Health Office to the ground floor of the library,outside the building.

These are part of a general improvement plan of the infrastructures of the Burjassot Campus.

During the duration of the works, occasional moments of more intense noise are expected.

In the library we are in contact with the Unit responsible for the execution of the works in order to be informed of the actions that may have a greater impact on the wellbeing of users and on the environment., and to try to minimise the impact as much as possible.
