Sala d’espera (Waiting room in valencian) is a relaxation and reading area located in the reading room on floor 0. It is designed as a corner to rest and disconnect from study, in silence. Here you can find our special collection, made up of popular science and reading books (comics, literature, essays) related to health and of an extra-academic nature.

The space is equipped with sofas, armchairs and side tables to consult books and work in a relaxed way.

In the sala de espera is the thematic exhibition Ací hi ha tema!, with a selection of works related to topics of interest in the field of health, connected with outstanding anniversaries, current issues and teaching or academic activities developed by the faculties to which the library provides services. The theme of the exhibition changes quarterly. 

Along with the works on display, there is a panel with complementary information on the topic: prominent figures in that field of health, related films and series, scientific articles to expand on, etc.
