    Place: Room LIP5 of the Faculty of Psychology. Blasco Ibañez Campus

    • 11:00h-12:15h. Primary sources in humanities in the UV Would you like to explore humanities from a different perspective? in this session we will unravel pirate stories and the Shakespeare theatre, using primary sources like the compass. We will explain the search techniques to locate and filter relevant documents.  
    • 12:30h-13:45h. Advanced sources for health and psychology in the UV. Do you want to squeeze the most out of the Health platforms and Psycinfo in the ProQuest platform? In this workshop will be done effective reviews to maximize your academic writing impact. Discover how to get the best performance of your time and make the most of the resources in your university.  
    • 14:30h-15:15h. Secondary sources for humanities and social sciences Do you feel lost with systematic reviews? Don’t you know where to start? In just one hour, you will learn tricks and methodologies to improve your searches and obtain the best results.
    • 15:30h-17:00h. AVON Did you know that you can access to works like Shakespeare, programming videos and news from all over the world in just one platform? With AVON Video Online you will learn to interact with videos to use them in teaching. To a teaching level, you will know how to create interactions and evaluation questions while visualizing the content. Finally, you will make the most of this platform, improving your searches and filters.s cerques i filtres.

    Support+Indicis Service for the 2024-2025 Six-years period call

    From next October 1st until December 13th, 2024, UV Libraries will start offering again the Support+Indexing Service in view of the 2024-2025 six-years period call.

    The objective is to help the research staff of the University of Valencia, providing them with objective data on the quality index of their scientific publications (metrics and citations).

     

    The general conditions of the service will be the following:

    1. The applicant will choose a maximum of seven publications, before sending the bibliographic references by submitting the bibliographic references using the form to the Library for analysis. The choice of publications to be analyzed by the Library is the responsibility of the applicant is the responsibility of the applicant.
    2. It is necessary to fill out as many applications as the number of research sections to be requested, with a maximum of seven publications per application.
    3. The Library will only analyze the ordinary publications (except patents) which ANECA considers evaluable according to the Order of December 2nd, 1994.
    4. The Library will elaborate and will deliver to the applicant a report in PDF with the indications of quality of each one of the references. The data provided are in accordance with the criteria required in ANECA's call for each scientific field.
    5. The final choice of the scientific publications submitted to ANECA is the responsibility of the researcher.
