International Open Access Week is an annual global initiative established by SPARC that promotes open access advocacy and the dissemination of academic content focused on open access and related topics. It is held in many parts of the world during the last week of October.
2024
In 2024, the motto of Open Access Week, which is celebrated worldwide from 21 to 26 October, remains ‘Community over Commercialization’.
The Libraries and Documentation Service, as on previous occasions, held the Jornada sobre Ciència Oberta 2024, where the actions being carried out at the UV to achieve the objectives proposed by open science were presented.

2023
With the motto " Community over Commercialization ", the research institutions celebrated Open Access Week 2023. At the UV, the Library and Documentation Service offered a Conference on Open Science in order to highlight the different actions being taken to term in favor of Open Science. This Conference also served as a framework to present the Portal de Producció Científica UV .

2022
