If you need new materials for your classes, you can request a purchase or a subscription and our team will take care of the whole acquisition process. This way, you will be able to have the most updated and relevant resources for your work.
The document lending service is very flexible and offers different modalities to suit your needs. If you do not have time to go to the library, you can use the office loan service and receive the books directly in your department.
We also offer the intercampus loan to obtain materials from other UV campuses, as well as the BUVAL loan, which allows you to access books from other Valencian public universities. If you need a book that is not available in our libraries, the interlibrary loan service will help you to get it from other institutions.
In addition, we offer training sessions at the library to ensure that you know how to use all our resources optimally. These sessions cover everything from using the catalog to searching specialized databases to bibliographic reference management.
We understand the importance of academic integrity, so we provide detailed information on plagiarism and how to avoid it. This information is essential for your students, and we can also advise you on how to address this issue in your classes to foster a culture of respect and academic honesty. Likewise, from the regulations page you can access the Protocol of the Universitat de València on the use of materials in digital environments (Virtual Classroom, materials in the repository, etc.).
For information searching, in addition to the Trobes catalog, you have access to a wide variety of academic databases, e-journals and e-books. The Roderic repository is also at your disposal, offering access to academic papers and research produced at UV, providing you with a wealth of resources for your teaching. Remember that to consult the subscribed electronic resources, you must configure the VPN if you are accessing from outside the University.
We also manage the recommended bibliography for your courses, making sure that the books you suggest to your students are available in the virtual classroom. This service facilitates access to the information you need to follow your courses.
Finally, we provide you with discipline-specific resource guides. These guides are designed to help you find and use the most relevant and up-to-date materials for your teaching, facilitating access to reliable and quality sources.
Remember that our libraries are committed to offering you the best support for the development of your teaching work. If you have any questions, you can write a message to La Biblioteca Respon.
