Declaración Nacional sobre Integridad Científica, signed in November 2015 by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), the Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain (COCSE) and the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC).

Código ALLEA de Conducta para la Integridad en la Investigación, signed by the University of Valencia in 2023. It is a European-wide code that refers to integrity in data management, collaborative work, publication and dissemination of research and review , evaluation and editing.

The Ethics Committee in Experimental Research of the University of Valencia is a consultative advisory body responsible for the evaluation of ethical problems that arise in the development of research projects that experiment with humans or with human biological samples , with animals, with pathogenic biological agents or genetically modified organisms, considering their effect on life and the environment.
