The Research Institute of Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL.) has announced the imminent entry in service in the next days of the new website.

This new website, adapted to the new unified design of the University portals, will favour the tasks of disseminating and sharing its research actions of the Institute, aimed at improving both the quality of life and organizations in the workplace.

The new website will be, therefore, one of the main tools to encourage and spread the psychologic research, also favouring the application of knowledge and tools that Psychology can provide in different areas of society, such as quality of working life and the better functioning of organizations in the field of work.
The potential readers of this new publication are not only limited to the academic sphere, but also to business and union organizations, institutions, workers, and the public generally.

The knowledge and tools that Psychology can provide to this field are immense, therefore, it is advisable to favour its application to the corresponding fields, and the new website will be the main way of transmitting this knowledge.

José María Peiró, director of IDOCAL, professor of Social Psychology at the Universitat de València, director of the Research Unit of Psychology of Organizations and Labour (UIPOT) and the Doctorate in Psychology of Human Resources of the Universitat de València, affirms that the current demands, the cooperation in network with European research centres and the strong competitiveness in obtaining resources in calls for research require research units of sufficient size and critical mass to tackle projects of a certain magnitude in a multidisciplinary context and in several areas. It also needs international projection, and a fluid communication with the potential claimants of generation and transfer of knowledge, and the web that will be released shortly will be fundamental in that role.
