To maintain the Twitter social network of a institutional account, contents must be continually, but not abussively, publishes. In normal circumstances, it is advisable to publish between 5 and 15 daily tweets based on the hours that generate more interaction in the account; except when an event is retransmitted in real time, in which case it can be interesting to publish more tweets allowing users to follow the key points of the event, or when informing about an emergency, etc.

To manage contents, comments and answers manually (not automated), which also allows to debug possible not desire users or content (spam).

It is important monitoring words and contents related directly and indirectly with the institutional activity of each organ, service or unit of the UV. This monitoring allows to generate content proactively with the most demanded themes by the members of the university community.

Once the activity on Twitter is consolidated, tweets publication can be automatized through the syndication RSS of certain contents (public calls, subsidies, awards, etc.), provides that they are not generated in an excessively volume.

It is indispensable to generate visual content to support messages on this social network. However, to accomplish the objectives, it is necessary to be aware of the wat and method in which Twitter shows this images on the Timeline.

Not owing content publication on Twitter

For those messages (normally news) that are not owing of the organ, service or unit of the UV, it is mandatory to pie dish the source from where the news has been extracted. Two this are achieved in such way:
