The isotype (pictogram or icon) is a figurative image that provides an universality idea of the institution, in offering, since the specific isotypes construction, the possibility of creating identifying elements of the different centres and specific services, with a same referrer element which gives it visual coherence.
The institutional isotype (corporate) is a symbol conceived by the Mariscal Study, called 'Xano', which is thought as a 'symbol/character that represents the student, main issue of the institution'.
This is the representation of 'Xano', the institutional isotype (corporate) of the Universitat de València.
The isotype cannot be separately represented from the logo of the institution, unless it is as a graphic supporting element to the institutional communication.
There is an integrated version of the logo and the institutional isotype, called trademark, which is presented below:
It cannot be done any construction as a combination of 'Xano' and the institutional logo out of the ones which remain defined in the 'trademark' epigraphy of this Institutional Visual Identity Manual.
