New EduVPN connection

The UV has changed the way you connect to the VPN. The new system is now called EduVPN. For the time being, you will be able to use both old connections with OpenVPN, as well as new ones with EduVPN.

On this page you will find the instructions for downloading, and on our Youtube channel you can watch different videos according to your operating system: Windows, MAC, Linux, Android and IOS.

New reading club at the Humanity Library

With the title "Where words unite us" we start a reading club at the Biblioteca d'Humanitats on the first Monday of each month, in the Multipurpose Room of the library, on the 1st floor.

This is a contemporary narrative reading club in Spanish, organized by the Concilyarte association.

Whenever possible, the author of the book will attend.

Let's go!, no registration is necessary, just your desire to read!

II Short Story Contest in the Humanity Library

II short story contest.

The Joan Reglà Library of Humanities announces its II Short Story Contest. The three best short stories presented will be awarded in order to promote and reward creativity and literary creation activities in the university environment and in society in general.

The prizes are:

1 prize: a 200 euro voucher to exchange at the UV Store.

2nd prize: a 150 euro voucher to exchange at the UV Store.

3rd prize: a 100 euro voucher to exchange at the UV Store.

Micro-stories can be sent from January 9 to February 28, 2024, in PDF format, in the following form.

The bases can be consulted in detail on the notice board of the University of Valencia, dated January 8.

The texts may be written in Valencian or Spanish. The topic is free, but it will necessarily include the phrase: "Paraules imprudents", if the short story is written in Valencian or "Palabras imprudentes" if the language is Spanish, and its length will not exceed 200 words without including the title.

Extraordinary and 24-hour opening

The Humanities Library is open on weekends 16-17, and 23 from 9:00 am to 2:00 am.
It will be open 24 hours from 27 December to 26 January at 21.00.

Closing room 0.2 and 1.0. Loan in room 0.1

Room 0.2, where the lending desk is located, and room 1.0, where the reference material is located, will be closed from Monday, October 20 until the end of the work due to the renovation of the lending desk. During this time, the lending service will be provided in room 0.1, which has been set up for this purpose only. We apologize for the inconvenience.
