ETYMOLOGY

It is not a term resulting from the evolution of the language over the centuries,
rather created by us librarians, it comes from one of the mechanisms of the
language itself, the composition from common words.

We invite you to incorporate this neologism into your library vocabulary.

MISSION

The objective is to leave a mark on the Teaching students, our reference
students.

However, we cannot lose the library essence, we delve into searching for
opening solutions, necessarily slow movements. The library staff will try
to energize, promoting innovation and creativity, without losing sight of the
user as a generator of knowledge, offering a collaborative space.

OVERVIEW / VISION

With the term Createca, we take the first steps in a new space, in the
Maria Moliner Library.

Cities and society are changing, and although it may be a threat to the
library, we are better faced with a stimulus, which helps our mutation,
contributing to these social movements.

ORIGINS

Project born in 2019, it has been framed within the new library strategies
of the Maker Spaces, they are creation spaces, physical places where
students can explore a variety of tools and materials to build and create
their own school projects.

In our meeting space, we will explore the disciplines of social sciences
and humanities.

ACTIONS

This space aims to offer materials to the Teachers of Early Childhood
Education and Primary Education, present and future, with:

- a board of creation of collective interrogation,
- Musical refuge: space to listen to music,
- active relaxation space,
- OER information (Open Educational Resources)

Our intention is to promote the potential that we offer, with the traditional
library and to promote cooperation, collaboration, in knowledge with the new spaces.
