Exhibition. Maps of Spanish Civil War. UV’s collection
Among the activities that the UV organises for the 80th anniversary of the declaration of Valencia as capital of the Spanish Republic, the UV’s Map Library presents an exhibition about maps of Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It has two goals: on the one hand, it aims to explain how was the cartographic production during the civil war from bibliography about the topic and giving examples of our collection. On the other hand, it aims to publicise these deposits that are now part of UV’s bibliographic and documentary heritage.
The exhibition will take place in Map Library’s room from 2 November 2016 to 31 March 2017.
