The Faculty of Physics and the Library and Documentation Service of the University of Valencia have signed an agreement with IOP ( Institute of Physics ) for open publication without fees. This agreement will allow UV authors to publish openly in hybrid journals (55 titles) and Gold OA (21 journals) of the publisher.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• The corresponding author submits the manuscript and is responsible for communication with the journal throughout the submission, review and publication process.
• Types of articles included in the agreement: research papers, special issues, letters and review articles.
• The agreement runs retroactively from 1/1/2024, and UV authors who have already paid an APC will have the opportunity to be reimbursed.
• The transformative agreement with IOP will be Read & Publish for 3 years, starting in 2024 and ending in 2026.
