From the Ciències de la Salut library we offer support to the university community in the use and management of library resources and services and in the acquisition of digital and informational skills necessary for their academic activity.
Among our training activities are:
Welcome sessions
We offer to the new users introductory sessions on the services and resources that the library makes available to them. These sessions take the form of presentations in the classroom and visits to the library facilities.
Training in library resources and services
The library designs specific training in resources and sources of information in the Health area (Trobes, electronic book platforms, databases, magazines...) and in digital and informational skills (search and selection of information, location and access to information, extraction and organization of the results through bibliographic managers…).
These training actions may be complementary or integrated into subjects in which content and related skills are worked on.
Tailored training sessions
They are tailored training sessions to meet the specific training needs of a group of users (minimum 5 people).
They can be requested by students, PDI and PAS, with enough time in advance to be able to specify their content with the applicants, and design and plan the form, duration and place of delivery.
To request a tailored training session write to the la BibliotecaRespon.
