Educational games

Creative pedagogy proposes placing creativity and intervention at the heart of the educational process (Morgan, 2021). Therefore, the goal in education is not merely to transmit content, but rather for students to explore, propose multiple solutions, and negotiate meanings.

For this purpose, play is a privileged tool because it offers a safe environment for experimentation and symbolic exploration—essential conditions for divergent thinking and the internalization of values.

Christmas Concert at the Humanities Library

On Thrusday the 18th, at 1:30 PM, the lobby of the Humanities Library will host a special performance by the Brass Quintet of the Musical Society L’Artesana de Catarroja. The ensemble is composed of:: Alexandre Barberá Valdueza – Tuba, Ivan Guillem Andújar – French Horn, Joan Rico Carboneras – Trumpet, Jose Amador Sacristán Cuquerella – Trumpet, Adrià Esteve Llorca – Trombone.

IV Short Story Contest of the Humanities Library

• The microfiction must include the following sentence, which belongs to the winning story of the last contest:

  • “El meu atac el va pillar tan desprevingut...”, if the language is Valencian.
  • “Mi ataque lo pilló tan desprevenido...”,if the microfiction is written in Spanish.
• The submission deadline is February 15, 2026!
• Awards:
  • 1st prize: €200 voucher for Tenda UV
