    Works on the Ground Floor of the Library

     

    We inform you that between the months of May and September, work will be carried out on the transfer of the works to move the Health Office to the ground floor of the library,outside the building.

    These are part of a general improvement plan of the infrastructures of the Burjassot Campus.


    During the duration of the works, occasional moments of more intense noise are expected.

    In the library we are in contact with the Unit responsible for the execution of the works in order to be informed of the actions that may have a greater impact on the wellbeing of users and on the environment., and to try to minimise the impact as much as possible.


    We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    Formació en línia de EMBASE per a la UV

    El pròxim 14 de maig de 2024, en horari de 14 h. a 15.30 h. l'editorial Elsevier oferirà una formació en línia sota el títol Impulsa tus proyectos en el ámbito de las ciencias de la salud con Embase.

    La sessió formativa està destinada a la comunitat universitària de la UV i té com a objectiu familiaritzar als participants amb el contingut i funcionalitats de cerca d'Embase, incloent-hi les diferents opcions de mapatge de termes.

    Embase és una base de dades d'investigació i literatura biomèdica internacional que permet obtindre informació sobre medicina basada en l'evidència i la realització de revisions sistemàtiques, entre altres funcionalitats. La UV té subscripció activa i es pot accedir a la base de dades a través del cercador Trobes. Recordeu activar la VPN si s'accedeix des de fora de la UV.

    24 hour opening hours Biblioteca de Ciències

    The Library will be open 24 hours a day,

    from 8:15 a.m. on May 6 
    until 9:00 pm on June 28th.
    To access the Library during this period, you will need to identify yourself with your university card.

    New version of the Trobes catalogue!

    Trobes is the library's discovery tool, a single window for searching all the information that makes up the University's physical and electronic collection.

    Over the last few months, a study has been made of the use made of it and a series of changes have been defined to improve the experience of searching and locating information.

    The result can now be seen on the catalogue website.

    Fallas, Holy Week and Easter timetable

     

    Fallas timetable
    The Library will be closed from 15th to 20th March.
    Easter opening hours
    It will be closed on 23rd and 24th March, 28th March to 1st April and from 6th to 8th April.
    From 2 to 5 April the Library will be open from 8.30 am to 9 pm with no lending service.
    Books can be returned in the returns box.

     

    ►The Humanities Library, will be open on March 15, 16 and 17, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

    New VPN at the University

    New videos of instructions to connect to the EduVPN are now available on our YouTube channel.

    The new connection requires two-factor authentication.

    These videos explain the configuration of this authentication and the installation.

    In the playlist you will find a video for each operating system.

    For the time being, both the old OpenVPN connections and the new ones will be usable.
