A guide to the reference code system for classification in the Botanical Garden Library, following the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC)
The collection is located in the main room, that contains books, journals, rare books (available upon request), and other materials (separate articles collection, closed journals, etc.).
The library uses the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) system. To know where the books are located, search the library catalog Trobes. The books on the shelves are arranged in call number order. The call number includes location (JB for Jardin Botánico), the UDC code (subject) and a number (order on the shelf) except for the special collections, which have a different treatment:
